We are able to offer early morning, late night and Saturday appointments to suit your lifestyle or working hours. We can travel to your place of work or home address to carry out most servicing or repairs to your car or van (please obtain permission from your employer or landowner where you are working).

We offer free quotations, which includes parts and labour. Parts can either be manufacturers own (always used for service work carried out within your warranty period) or patent parts which are of comparable quality but normally lower in cost. The choice is up to you, but we are always happy to quote for both options and let you decide.

We are able to offer Air-conditioning servicing, repairs and re-gassing although we may need to take the car away for a few hours for this service as some the equipment required to deal with the gas is not portable.

Cars and vans need to be serviced as per the manufacturer's specifications during the warranty period in order to maintain your warranty with the manufacturer. We are able to offer a full service, which covers the requirements over and above the manufacturer's requirements and uses genuine manufacturer's parts. We provide you with a full receipt and stamp your service book to maintain the service history of the vehicle.

Once the car or van is out of warranty period, we will continue to service your vehicle based on the manufacturer's recommendations and quote you accordingly. However, if you would prefer we have two choices of general service checks available and can change the service items that are required. The two options are designed to meet your budget when you are not in a financial position to carry out the service recommended.

The choice is yours which option you take up. We can pre check and arrange your MOT to coincide with your service so you have one less thing to think about!

Change engine oil and visual check for oil leaks
Fit new sump plug washer

Check and top up if necessary fluids including gearbox oil (auto and manual), power steering, suspension, brakes, clutch

Coolant levels checked and topped up if required. (Top ups not included but can be provided at small extra cost)
Visual check of fan belt, drive belts and transmission / clutch / auto transmission
Visual battery condition check and top up if required. (Top ups not included but can be provided at small extra cost)
Visual check and adjust clutch cable freeplay (if applicable to your make and model)
Fit new Spark Plugs
Fit new air filter

•  All our work carried out by us carries a minimum parts guarantee of 12 months (does not include normal wear and tear).

If there is any area that need attention right away, that are not service related items, we will quote them for you and let you decide when to get them done.

Payment is required on completion of each job by either cash or cheque (made payable to Automiles). We will shortly be able to accept most debit and credit cards for your convenience.
